Tuohy O’Toole successfully auctioned some 23 Acres of Lands in Crossboyne, just outside of Claremorris Town on Friday last (31st May, 2013).The lands were offered to the market with a disclosed reserve of €80,000.
Auctioneer Gerard O’Toole confirmed that there were two bidders and bidding commenced as low as €40,000. The auction successfully concluded and the land in question eventually achieved €90,000, equating to just under €4,000 per acre. Mr O’Toole commented that “this price was about right for the quality of land in question. The sale underlines the ongoing demand for farmland."
